The back-up batteries in this style are housed in a separate battery box. Located near the signal box, the battery boxes were typically constructed of concrete with a metal cover. This set is a 6 pack and does not contain any actual electronics. The model is resin 3D printed for maximum detail in S scale (1:64), and measures approximately 1.1" wide, 0.4" deep and 1.1" tall. The battery box is approximately 0.65" wide, 0.65" deep and 0.28" tall. The model comes unpainted. This model is for display only. It is not a toy.
